Hi! We are Wendy and Frank Salazar.

our passion is to make people smile through food.

I’ve been in the restaurant business for 35 years (wow, that’s a long time!) and owned a restaurant for 11 years. 

After taking a 2-year hiatus to try new things, I realized I missed the food business and needed to get back to it. 

In comes my wonderful husband, Frank. Over the years he has been my busboy, dishwasher, cook, and all-around handyman in the restaurant. Whatever needed to be done, he was up for the challenge. I do have to keep him on task though, he loves to talk with all the customers. 

Now we’ve decided to try our hand at the mobile food business.

Our goal is to offer something quick to fuel your adventure as well as more substantial meals for after a long day. 

Trailside Kitchen was born!

Breakfast will offer Burritos, Egg Sandwiches and more.

Lunch and dinner will offer fresh delicious wraps, Cheeseburgers and everything in between.

Along with our standard menu, we will have rotating items and seasonally inspired recipes to keep things fresh. To offer the food people love.
